CHF Market

The US and EU markets for AcquiSci’s d-OSAB™ treatment of Chronic Heart Failure, subdivided by NYHA class, is based on revenue from 12 sequential monthly treatments on an out-patient basis.

Patients suffering from Chronic Heart Failure represent a widely diverse group; from asymptomatic (NYHA Class I) to those who have exhausted all medical means of treatment and awaiting heart transplant (Class IV). AcquiSci’s d-OSAB™ anti-inflammatory treatment focuses on reduction of cardiac events leading to hospitalization and death in Class II and III patients who have not had a heart attack.

Upon regulatory approval to commercialize AcquiSci’s d-OSAB™ device for the treatment of CHF, market penetration will require the Company to elicit the advocacy of cardiac specialists and opinion leaders in the field to maximize awareness and implementation of the therapy for the targeted 3.05 million EU and 2.66 million US CHF Class II/III patient candidates.
